2021 Queensland Reconciliation Awards

The 2021 Queensland Reconciliation Awards has closed for nominations.

These Awards recognise initiatives undertaken by businesses, community organisations and groups, educational institutions and government going above and beyond their core business to foster reconciliation and pave the way for a better future for our state.

Nominations were encouraged across five categories:

  • Business
  • Community
  • Education
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Partnership.

A health and wellbeing category was introduced in 2021 to highlight the outstanding work accomplished across Queensland through health and wellbeing initiatives.

Recipients will be announced during National Reconciliation Week, 27 May – 3 June 2021.

A Premier’s Reconciliation Award will also be presented to an initiative that has demonstrated innovative strategies and exceptional outcomes toward advancing reconciliation in Queensland.

A total of $30,000 in prize money will be shared across all six award recipients.
